Q1 2024 Snapshot: Top Beauty Retail Apps on Android in France

In the first quarter of 2024, the French Android market for beauty retail apps saw diverse user engagement and download metrics. Analysis from Sensor Tower offers a perspective into how these apps fared during this period.

Sephora - Make-up, Beauty began the quarter with approximately 16K downloads and maintained a steady decline to around 8K by the end. Weekly active users started at roughly 68K and saw a slight decrease to near 58K over the quarter.

The performance of Nocibé La beauté partagée presented a similar downward trend. Downloads dipped from 9K in the first week to about 5K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting at around 17K and declining to nearly 12K.

Beauté Privée showed an initial download count of 4K, which fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending at nearly 2K. The weekly active users varied, peaking at 68K mid-quarter before settling close to 61K.

For Marionnaud – Beauté & Soins, downloads saw a peak of 4K in late January, followed by a gradual decrease to just under 3K. Unfortunately, data on weekly active users for the app was not available.

Lastly, Notino: perfumes and cosmetics experienced a volatile quarter, with downloads starting at roughly 2K, peaking at 3.6K, and then ending at around 1.4K. Weekly active users had a high of 14K in both the first week and early March, eventually decreasing to just over 10K.
